Fair trade is a social movement whose goal is to help producers in developing countries promote fair business practices including better wages for workers and improved access to education and healthcare. In addition, fair trade products promote ecological sustainability. Sustainable products are often organically grown and are more friendly to the environment. Buying fair trade products is better for people and better for the planet.
