If you have not completed the Columbian Exchange Map, it is overdue. Bring home the poster and complete it over the weekend. No additional class time will be provided. You may also want to bring home your notebook to prepare for the End of Lesson Notebook Assessment. Attach the Notebook Rubric to page 30 in your notebook. (Really, you should be able to self score) You should use this period to complete, update, and improve your entries. When I examine your notebook, I'll be looking for entries that are: neat, complete, artistic, accurate, and thoughtful. Your short answers to questions should be correct and complete (able to stand alone). Your paragraph reflections should be thoughtful and detailed. (Include evidence to support your point of view) Your maps should follow map standard rules and must include TODAL(s) as directed by the assignment. Your illustrations should be artistic, colorful, and carefully completed. Remember, you may be allowed to use your notebook when taking a test or when writing a "constructed response". The more you write, the more likely you are to do well on those assessments. | Make sure you have completed the Lesson 2 notebook activities. Remember to update your table of contents. page 19: Wordle / Word Cloud page 20: T-chart Powhatan Culture page 21: 5 questions from reading "Early Jamestown" page 22: Map of Virgiinia page 23: paragraph / Did Pochahontas save John Smith's life? page 24:Trade Items / cut and paste page 25: 10 questions about Jamestown page 26: Starving Time / cut and paste foods page 27: paragraph / Did the early Jamestown colonists practice cannibalism? |
