Step 1. Review the map of 13 colonies for their names, and locations. (Atlas in text on page A1)
Step 2. Create a key of 3 colors (colored pencil) and carefully shade NEW ENGLAND, the MIDDLE, and the SOUTH
Step 3. Label each colony with its complete name. Labels should be carefully written in pen, and should be uniform in size, height, and direction. Only the first letter needs to be capitalized.
